So it begins….

I am many things, none of which can be expressed here but the things I do can be expressed here and that will provide some hint of who I am…not that this matters much to anyone but me.

The goals of this blog ( 1 of 6 I’ve started and stopped and randomly deleted) is

(1) to present what I do in it’s complete form. Other blogs have just been my political views or my pagan life or just knitting content but this is everything and nothing in the completeness that only the Crimson Fox can bring you *wink* .

(2) to document my journey on the “Druid” path. This year (during samhain) I made a commitment to do the following….

1. Declare intention near Samhain to test for the Oblaire grade before next Lughnassah.

2. Choose an anamchara as an aid to practice.

3. Proficiency in present tense conversational Gaelige (lessons 1-10).

4. Be able to recite 5 conachlonns of their making or from the lore.

5. Have read and discussed (with the anamchara) five of the primary stories:

Violent Deaths (Oitte)

Sieges (Forbassa)

Voyages (Immrama)

Caves (Uatha)

6. Have read “The Apple Branch”, and discussed it with your anamchara.

7. Have read a relevant scholarly work on the Celts and presented it to the tuatha.

8. Minimum of 5 minutes of “breath watching” meditation 5 days a week with anamchara.

9. Weekly barefoot walks (after Bealtaine).

10. Have made five original poems (in English) and spoken them before the tuatha.

11. Know the traditional and current requirements and privileges of the Oblaire grade.

12. Climb Horn Peak barefoot on Lughnassah (on closest Full Moon).

(3) To get back into the practice of correct sentence formation, proper spelling and decent clear projection of well formed thought….and use that journalism degree I proudly display in the bottom of a box in the back left corner of the prestigious linen closet of honor….or something.

Fair warning : The occasional brain dumb will be present here (it will be well labeled as such) but for the most part this will be a place for the carefully planned well constructed voices in my head to put out their written musings…Therefore I expect the same from any comments as it is what I give you.
