A request

I know there are not a bazillion people reading this blog on a  regular basis but even if there are 20  I’m grateful.

This past week I found out that a friend of mine has Leukemia. She’s 25 and a beautiful human being that I care about deeply.  She’s currently being treated but before they start chemotherapy they have to get her liver and kidneys functioning better. Thinks are on the up side and they think that they can start full treatment tomorrow.

I’ll be spending a lot of my extra time there in the next few months giving her and her family massages and simple reiki treatments and sneaking in what natural helps I can.

Please ask who you can…I’ll be petitioning sweet Brighid each night for her cause. It’s a scary thing. They didn’t even consider Leukemia to be an option for her really….It was a shock for everyone but at least she’s being treated now. Any suggestions and well-wishes are welcome.

Thanks for listening. Her name is Diana, by the way.

I read your blog regularly. Best of luck to you and your friend, Diana. I wish her a speedy and comfortable full recovery.

I am a frequent guest here. My heart goes out to you. My father had myelodysplagia syndrome, which as I recall was described as sort of a precursor to leukemia. Chemo treatments and a bone marrow transplant cured him and he is doing well. I hope Diana’s treatments are successful.

I will certainly add you and Diana to my prayer list. May Eir speed her to recovery, may the Holy Powers hold you both in their good stead.

Sending diana prayers and Reiki…sending you a great *big hug*

I’ll keep Diana in my thoughts and prayers.

Brightest of blessings, my dear; you know that I come here as often as I can, though I may not always leave my thoughts. :)

I understand far too well the pain that accompanies knowing that someone you love and care about is facing something like this. Our Godson was diagnosed with leukemia nearly 2.5 years ago, and relapsed twice. He was doing so very well up until 2 weeks ago, when we learned that he has relapsed a 3rd time, and that this time, the leukemia has now spread to his marrow. He is not yet even 8 years old; my heart is heavy with sadness, yet full of hope…not only for him, but for your friend as well.

(((Hugs))) to you, and bountiful healing thoughts and prayers for Diana.
